Meet Rachel

Rachel Camarillo is a seasoned leader with an exceptional talent for assembling high-performing teams and applying her financial expertise to drive business profitability.  With over 25 years of professional leadership experience in various industries such as Retail, Hospitality, Restaurants, Aviation, and Manufacturing, Rachel brings a unique perspective to every organization she touches.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Gonzaga University and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA from Washington State University, slated for completion within the next year.

Throughout her career, Rachel has successfully helmed “small” midsized companies, and she recently embarked on a new journey at Filson, a notable “large” midsized heritage outdoor apparel company.  As Filson’s Corporate Controller, she leads the accounting and financial planning teams, employing her strong foundation in finance and accounting to steer the company towards sustained success.

In recognition of her exceptional contributions, Rachel was honored in 2021 as one of the Puget Sound's 40 under 40. Her noteworthy achievements extend beyond the corporate realm, as she is the founder of the Women in Manufacturing Washington Chapter—an organization that fosters a supportive network and provides professional development opportunities for women in the industry. Known affectionately as Sunshine in Human Form, Rachel consistently radiates a warm and authentic energy, leaving a positive impact wherever she goes.

After a handful of successful consulting engagements, she decided to make it official and launched Sunshine Hub with the hopes of expanding her passion for helping small to mid-sized companies successfully navigate the various stages of their business with a special focus in the areas of accounting, finance, and leadership.
